Nylon 6 is a semi transparent to opaque milky white crystalline thermoplastic, and is one of the important members of the five major engineering plastics. It has excellent mechanical properties, electrical properties, heat resistance, wear resistance, chemical resistance, good formability, and dimensional stability, and is widely used in fields such as electronics, electrical appliances, automobiles, high-speed rail, aviation, and machinery. Printing and labeling of nylon parts are often necessary processes, but the text and patterns printed on plastic parts are prone to wiping or fading in the sun, resulting in poor durability. Moreover, due to the miniaturization of product volume and diversification of appearance, traditional printing, thermoplastic, mechanical carving and other methods are gradually unable to meet the requirements of industry development. Laser printing can solve this problem. The principle of laser marking is that a laser generator generates a high-energy continuous laser beam, and the focused laser acts on the substrate material, causing the surface material to instantly melt or even vaporize.
